ANURADHA MUKHERJEE

Anuradha Mukherjee graduated in Economics
from Presidency College, University of Calcutta, and in 1992
completed an MA in Mass Communication, specializing in Development
Communications at Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA.
-
She has extensive experience in working
on children's, women's, environment and human rights issues;
as an evaluator of national and international development projects
and programmes; in designing and implementing public campaigns
on social issues and as a manager of media projects, working
with broadcast media and NGOs. She has research experience in
the advertising industry, conducting commercial and political
research for leading corporate bodies and media organizations;
she has scripted and produced video documentary programmes,
and has experience as a trainer and resource person for a wide
range of seminars and workshops.

For the Media South Asia Project, she researched
the development and impact of broadcast media on urban and rural
audiences in West Bengal and Orissa.
